The Sandman is A character in fairy
tales from old bedtime stories told by parents
to their
children.
Based on Western Folklore, he is invoked to help
children to sleep at night by
sprinkling magic sand dust
on or into the eyes.
He is said to bring good dreams and one awakes with the
resulting 'sleep' in the eyes. |
